Boston Weekend

IMG_0406It’s been a year since I last visited the East Coast so I was due a trip and the summer is always a great time to come. We landed on Saturday and headed slightly out of town to visit friends who had recently had a baby. It was my first time visiting the suburbs in the States and it was great to see another side of American life. We all ventured downtown to the Saint Anthony Feast in the North End where you could stroll the decorated streets and sample an array of Italian street food from pizza and pasta to cannoli and gelato, while listening to live music. I never visited the Festival while I was living in Boston so it was a great experience it for the first time. I have a couple more days here to soak up the city and catch up with friends before heading to New York at the end of the week. IMG_0434a
